Ruh

The Ruh is made of the command of Allah. 

What's the Ruh made of? The command of Allah. 

So the more you align yourself with God's commands, the more the Ruh shines. 

And the more the Ruh shines, the more motivated you are to stay away from the haram and do the good. 

But when the Ruh becomes weakened, because the Prophet ﷺ said, every time you sin, a black spot appears on the heart. 

What's the significance of the black spot? What if I do a lot of sins, what happens to the heart? 

There you go. It doesn't reflect light. You wanted to know how to increase your Iman? You need the Ruh to shine brighter. 

How do you make the Ruh, that light of consciousness in you, shine brighter? Feed it. Give it what it needs. 

Commands of Allah. Recitation of the Qur'an. Remembrance of Allah. Giving da'wah. Reflecting upon the creation of Allah. 

The more you do that, when you understand, wait, I'm actually a Ruh, and the Ruh is the command of Allah. 

The more I remain on the commands of Allah, the stronger the Ruh becomes, and the Ruh drags the nafs towards the obedience of Allah.
